Meet the 2024–2025 PAGE Board
Hello everyone! My name is Alex Yoder. I am a second-year Master of Public Administration (MPA) Student and will serve as the President of the Public Affairs and Global Enterprise (PAGE) Student Association this year. I've been asked to provide some background information about the PAGE Student Association and introduce this year's Board.
The PAGE Student Association was formed by students ito organize and create academic, professional and networking opportunities for all DPA (MPA, Master of Public Policy and Master of Science in International Affairs & Global Enterprise) students. The PAGE Student Board—which is led by elected DPA students and includes roles such as President, Vice President of Community Outreach, Vice President of Career Development and Vice President of Social Justice (formally Vice President of Diversity)—is responsible for organizing and hosting two annual service projects, an educational event and a career/networking event to achieve this goal.
Last year, I had the chance to serve alongside a handful of inspiring student leaders as Vice President of Diversity for the PAGE Student Board. With the help of faculty, staff, and DPA students, we created meaningful change in our community. I know that this year will be no different!
The Board has some incredible ideas for our events this year, including advocacy training, career/networking events and opportunities to connect to our community through service. We are eager to get to work planning how we can best serve the student body, and I'm confident we will have a very successful year.
The Board is always looking for involvement from DPA Students. If you would like to get involved in the Board in any way, please don't hesitate to reach out to me via my student email at alex.yoder@umail.utah.edu.
Now, without further ado, I'm happy to introduce the 2024–2025 PAGE Student Board!
